Frost Punx Picnic XX Feb. 13th – until 15th, 2026

Dear Frost Punx,
we have to announce some important info concerning our upcoming festival, which unfortunately will not be the kind of picnic as you know it.
As you might already heard, in the morning of 24th december AZ Mülheim became the victim of an arson in which an entrance door was severely damaged. Although the fire was quickly recognized and extinguished by the fire brigade before it could spread on other parts of the building the attack confronts us with ongoing restrictions that probably won’t be solved till Frost Punx Picnic XX.
As it takes time to remove the damage and to restore an emergency exit it’s still not possible for us to use all parts of AZ in its normal way. The most critical result is that we can’t open the big hall for you. As you can imagine this presents us with significant problems and will change the character of this years edition of Frost Punx Picnic.
We didn’t expect the festival to be still affected by such major consequences. Nevertheless we are motivated to realize the fest and developed a plan that doesn’t leave out any band.
Tomorrow we will launch a presale for a strictly limited amount of two-day tickets that will be slightly more expensive than in previous years and that gives you the additional option of solidarity tickets to support the festival with some extra money. As this novel situation is creating financial uncertainty for us we would really appreciate the help you can afford. All incoming money will only be used to fund the artists, the festival and the operation of AZ Mülheim.
We are working hard to offer you a pleasant weekend against all odds and relay on your assistance.
Buy a ticket in advance, don’t come along without one, spread the news and tell all your fellow Frost Punx about it, take care of each other at the venue and celebrate yet another great party with us!
